Review #1080; Rum #408
This is a bottling of rum that was done as a collaboration between The Green Zone (a DC bar) and Seelbachs (a DC based liquor retailer. This rum was distilled at Demrara Distillers Limited and is a blend of rums from the French Savalle Still, the Diamond Coffey Still, and the Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still.

Nose: Cherry Cola, Toasted Coconut, Vanilla, Black Tea, slight motor oil, peppery
Palate: Oily mouthfeel, Cola, Toasted Coconut, Vanilla, black tea, peppery, motor oil, nutmeg
Finish: Long finish, Toasted Coconut, Cherries, Dr. Pepper, black tea, faint motor oil, nutmeg
Rating: 7/10
This is a great and enjoyable rum. It really shows what can be accomplished with the blending of multiple stills. The fruits, cola, and spices all work well together here.
