This rum comes from the Serrallés Distillery in Mercedita, Puerto Rico. This rum was distilled from molasses on a column still and aged in charred American Oak for 10 years before being bottled in 2009 with no additives.

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Raspberry, Vanilla, Coconut Flakes, Black Pepper

Rating: 6/10

This is a pretty good rum. The flavors are pretty good and it has a decent amount of flavor even at 40 %. I know there’s a Euro release of this at 49% and I would love to try that version. Even as it stands, this a pretty good all Column rum to have on hand.
