Domain de Jean-Bon 30 Year 1990

Review #1252; Brandy #68

This is a bottling of Armagnac bottles for K&L Wine and Spirits in California. Grown from Baco grapes, this was distilled and then likely aged in New Oak for 30 years before being bottled at cask strength with no additives.

Distillery: Domaine de Jean-Bon

Bottler: Domaine de Jean-Bon

Region: France

ABV: 45%

Nose: Raspberry, Vanilla, Floral, Dark Chocolate, Leather

Palate: Thick oily mouthfeel, Raspberry, Vanilla, Floral, Dark Chocolate, Leather, Nutty

Finish: Long Finish, Dark Chocolate, Raspberry, Nutty, Vanilla, Touch of Leather, Floral

This is an excellent brandy. Great mouthfeel, long finish, fruity but with a nice oak backbone that lends savory notes to it. This is just really delicious and fantastic to drink.
