Review #1358; Rum #661
This rum was distilled from molasses at a distillery in Fiji (I’d guess SPD) in 2004 on a pot still. It in aged in American Oak until 2016 where it was put into ex-rum casks in Europe before being bottled at cask strength with no additives in 2023.
Distillery: Unknown Fiji Distillery
Bottler: Bedford Park

Rating: 6/10
This is a very good rum. The flavors are well balanced it has a nice bit of sweetness that does well against the oak. For other folks, this will likely be a great rum to add to their pile of bottles. But for me, it isn’t exactly what Im looking for in a Fiji. I prefer the young weird plastic bag fijis over these well aged ones, but this is still a quality bottle of rum.
