Background: This is a single barrel from the Scotch Malt Whiskey Society. This Aberlour has been aged for 12 years in a refill ex-bourbon barrel before being bottled at cask strength with no color added and was non-chill filtered. Background: This is a release from Bruichladdich, it is matured predominantly in first-fill American oak casks, along with second-fill American and second-fill French wine casks. It is peated to 40ppm. It is Non-Chill Filtered and Color Free. It is matured using the following casks: • 65% 1ST FILL AMERICAN WHISKEY CASKS • 10% 2ND FILL
