Background: This Single malt from Clynelish has been selected by the SMWS and aged for 14yrs ina 2nd fill Sauternes cask before being bottled at cask strength with no additives or chill filtering. ABV: 56.8% Nose: Light fruits, floral wildflowers, malty grains, black tea/ black pepper, honey. Palate: Thick mouthfeel, plums, oak, pepper, black tea, lemon, citrus, Finish: Medium

Matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks and bourbon barrels, both of which were first-filled. After a quarter of a century of ageing, it as bottled at cask strength. ABV: 45.1% Nose: Medicinal Whiff, light smoke, hay, fruity berried hint. The age has really tamed and mellowed the nose on this. Palate: Medium mouthfeel, “wet” and lingering,

This is aged in sherry seasoned oak casks from Spain, like most Macallan offerings. This is offered at a higher abv than other releases; however, this is still lower than the 2017 release at 58.4%. ABV: 51.2% Nose: Fruitcake, berries, allspice, oak, and Sulphur. Nose feels a little muted, it makes you work for the notes. Palate: Medium/thinish
