This bottling comes to us from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This was distilled at Longmorn, aged for 13 years in a 1st fill ex-sherry butt. It was then bottled at cask strength with no color added and was non chill filtered. This was bottled for the 2020 Speyside festival. Let’s see how they chose.

This was bottled at cask strength with no color added, and was non-chill filtered. ABV: 56.6% Nose: Meaty sweet bbq peat, Grape Jam, Allspice, Nutmeg, Lemon Peel, Black Pepper, touch of floralness. Palate: Medium oily

This is a bottling from the SMWS. It is a 29-year-old Clynelish, aged in a Refill Ex-Sherry Butt. This bottle was bottled at Cask Strength with no color added and was non-chill filtered. ABV: 57.6% Nose: Punchy, Honey, Graham Cracker, Allspice, black peppercorns, figs, apricots, dark chocolate, toffee, apple peel. Palate: Thick and oily mouthfeel, a bit waxy.
