This is a cane juice rum from D’Indochine Distillery in Vietnam. This rum was made from fresh pressed cane juice and distillated on an alembic copper still. It then aged for 5 years at origin in a Cognac-plum liqueur cask before being botlted with no colouring.

Rating: 5/10
Its fine. The fruit flavors are nice, but this cask is so aggressive and I lose any semblance of the original distillate here. This would be a nice thing to sip during the cold months, but as far as an execution of aging, the cask just obliterates everything here.
