Review #1416; Rum # 715
This rum comes to us from dependent bottler Velier, bottled under the National Rum of Jamaica label. This rum was distilled from molasses at Long Pond in Jamaica where it aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon casks. It was then bottled at cask strength with no additives and an ester count between 500-700. This marque, STC<3, is from the now shuttered Cambridge rum distillery.

This is actually a re-review (an accidental one) but I wrote my original review of this 2 years ago and 386 rum reviews later, I like it even more. Its rich, luxurious, an incredible balance of industrial and intense tropical fruits. Long Pond knows how to put out some amazing quality rum.
