This is rum was distilled from molasses on the Vendome pot still, aged for 16 years at origin, and bottled with no additives for Total Wine in South Carolina.

This is an excellent bottle of rum. Vendome, since my eyes were opened on it a few years ago, tends to be my favorite thing from SLD (though I’ve never had a bad Master Select). Just a stunning bottle of rum. Great well balanced flavor, oak is well integrated as is the alcohol, and if you like cough syrup this has a bit of that in it .
