Review #1258; Rum #565
Here we have a bottling from Roaming Roads Spirits. Roaming Roads Spirits is a new independent bottler founded by Mike Gilmore, owner of Country Lane Liquor in Wyoming. . Mike is bringing his years of experience selling and tasting spirits to found Roaming Road, an independent bottler that will bottle single cask Rums, Cognacs, Armagnacs, and who knows what else going forward.
This single cask is a collaboration between Lincoln Road Package liquor store and Roaming Road spirits. This is a rum that was distilled from molasses on the Port Mourant pot still from Guyana and aged / finished in a PX sherry cask before being bottled at cask strength with no additives.

I like this rum a lot. It has a ton of flavor, its well balanced, and it doesn’t taste over sherried. The cask balances well with the PM base spirit. The long finish is nice as well and overall a great set of rums and releases from Roaming Road.
