Here we have a blend of rums from the Monymusk (Clarendon) distillery in Jamaica. This rum was distilled from molasses and aged in ex-bourbon casks for 9 years (mostly in Europe) before being bottled with no additives.

Nose: Vanilla, Pencil Shavings, touch of pineapple, lemon

Palate: Lighter mouthfeel, Pencil Shavings, Touch of Pineapple, lemon , vanilla

Finish:  Medium length finish, Pencil Shavings, Pineapple, Vanilla, touch of lemon

Rating: 6/10

Overall, a very good rum. Some of the pencil notes keep it from rising above but it has good flavors that are well balanced. Priced a little too high for me ($88 in the USA from what I could find) but a very good blend.
