This rum comes from Petit-Bourg Guadeloupe from the Montebello distillery. This rum was made from fresh pressed cane juice and distilled on a column still.

Nose: Soft, Floral, Green Apple, Coriander, Vanilla, Lemon PeelPalate: Thick oily mouthfeel, Floral, Coriander, Vanilla, Lemon Peel, earthy, AppleFinish: Medium length finish, Coriander, Brine, Vanilla, Earthy, Lemon

Rating: 7/10

Another great example of unaged cane juice rhum from Guadeloupe. It’s floral, a bit earthy, and spicy which makes for a very enjoyable sipping rum (and would perform well in a ti punch). I have to say I think most days Guadeloupe makes my favorite agricole rums.
