Review #1085; Rum #412
This rum was bottled by dependent bottler Habitation Velier from Demerara Distillers Limited, located in Guyana. This rum was distilled from molasses on the legendary Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still. Now most rum off this still is aged but this rum was bottled unaged with no additives at a high proof.

Port Mourant continues to shine as the best still at DDL, and this showcases it even more. The distillate really shines here with unusual flavors. Fruits, spices, that prominent lettuce note, some cough syrup. The finish lingers forever and it is a unique experience, but one that surpasses novelty and goes into pure enjoyment.
