This bottle of Cognac comes to us from La Maison du Whisky under their Through The Grapevine Line. This single cask comes from Camus. This particular Cognac comes from the Bois Ordinaries area.

ABV: 49%

Nose: Bright and fruity. Raspberry, Figs, Cherry, Allspice, Lemon Tart, Vanilla

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Apple Peel, Raspberry, Fig, Allspice, Lemon Tart, Vanilla, tart blueberry

Finish: Medium length finish, Apple Peel, Raspberry, Allspice, Blueberry, black tea, Vanilla, Cinnamon

Rating: 7/10

Bright, fruity and delicious. This is a real winner. Easy to drink, but does have complexity to grab your attention if you want. One of the better “younger” expressions I have had.

1 | Disgusting | So bad I poured it out.

2 | Poor | I wouldn’t consume by choice.

3 | Bad | Multiple flaws.

4 | Sub-par | Not bad, but better exists.

5 | Good | Good, just fine.

6 | Very Good | A cut above.

7 | Great | Well above average

8 | Excellent | Really quite exceptional.

9 | Incredible | An all time favorite

10 | Perfect | Perfect
