This cask of Armagnac comes to us from L’Encatada and the Domaine of Del Cassou. This Bas-Armagnac is produce from the Baco grape variety. This was aged for 20 years in a dry cellar in oak before being bottled at cask strength with no additives.

ABV: 47.6%

Nose: Over-ripe blueberries, tobacco leaf, Apple Skin

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Over-Ripe blueberries, Tobacco Leaf, Apple Skin, Lemon Curd

Finish: Medium length finish, Over-ripe, Tobacco Leaf, Apple Skin, Lemon Curd, Vanilla

Rating: 7/10

A great tasty brandy. Nice fruity elements, well integrated oak, and good savory elements to round it out.
