This is part of the ongoing series from Hampden Estate that distillery in Jamaica. This rum is a blend of 74% HGML 2019 3yr (1000-1100 gr/hLAA) and 26% 2011 11yr LFCH (90-120 gr/hLAA) that is bottled with no additives.

ABV: 55%

Nose: Familiar Over-Ripe fruits, Caramelized Banana, Cement Glue, Grilled Pineapple, Allspice, Apple Cider Vinegar, Passionfruit

Palate: Thick oily mouthfeel, Over Ripe Caramelized Banana, Cement Glue, Grilled Pineapple, Allspice, Apple cider vinegar, passionfruit, slight chlorine

Finish: Longer finish, Over-Ripe Banana, Cement Glue, Grilled Pineapple, Crème Brulee, Passionfruit, Chorine, Apple Cider Vinegar

Rating: 8/10

Another great blend from Hampden, hitting on those notes I like with a touch more of that acid, glue, and meats compared to prior years.

1 | Disgusting | So bad I poured it out.

2 | Poor | I wouldn’t consume by choice.

3 | Bad | Multiple flaws.

4 | Sub-par | Not bad, but better exists.

5 | Good | Good, just fine.

6 | Very Good | A cut above.

7 | Great | Well above average

8 | Excellent | Really quite exceptional.
