Version Francaise is La Masion Du Whisky’s first range dedicated to French Spirits. This bottling of Armagnac comes to us from Veuve Goudoulin founded in 1935 by Jeanne Menal Goudoulin. Aged for 22ish years lets see how it holds up.

ABV: 48.3%

Nose: Figs, Plums, Orange Peel, slight blueberry, Nutmeg, sandalwood

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, big orange peel note, slight vanilla, Figs, Nutmeg, Sandalwood, Raspberry, Nuttiness

Finish: Longer finish, pop of black tea, orange peel, vanilla, nutmeg, nuttiness, sandalwood

Rating: 8/10

Bursting with fruits and tempered just slightly by some savory notes, this is an excellent Armagnac and one I could sip on all night. Delicious, well balanced, and engaging what a joy to drink.
