Through the Grapevine Maxime Trijol Single Cask 2003

This single cask of Cognac Fin Bois was selected by La Masion Du Whisky for the American market and was aged then bottled at cask strength with no additives. This was brought in by La Masion & Velier.

ABV: 43.3%

Nose: Raisins, toffee

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Raisins, Cinnamon, Slight Toffee

Finish: Medium length finish, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Toffee, Figs

Rating: 5/10

It’s fine. Not bad by any means but not very memorable. Nice fruits and spices but isn’t very exciting. But still an enjoyable thing to drink, one of those to throw in a glass while board or video gaming to have something tasty.

4 | Sub-par | Not bad, but better exists.
