Rom Deluxe No. 2 Jamaica New Yarmouth WM

This is an unaged rum from Jamaica coming to us from Independent bottler Rom De Luxe. This rum was distilled on a pot still from molasses and made in the style of WM which clocks in with an ester count of 1300-1400 gR/HLAA.

ABV: 65%

Nose: Sharp, Kimchi, slight meat, Guava, Pineapple, Lemon Pledge, Cement Glue, Orange Peel, Brine

Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, Kimchi, Guava, Pineapple, Lemon Zest, Cement Glue, Orange Peel, Black tea, Brine

Finish: Medium length finish, Guava, Brine, Vegetal, Lemon Zest, Cement Glue, Orange Peel, Cumin, Allspice

Rating: 7/10

A great example of a high ester Jamaican rum. A bit rough around the edges neat but still enjoyable and just jam packed with a ton of flavor.
