Big, bold, and delicious this is an excellent American Whiskey and the best American Single Malt I have had so far. Big fruits, spices, bread, and a bit of dark chocolate make for a complex and delicious whiskey. The mouthfeel and finish are quite nice as well and the oak is well integrated. Underaged American Single Malt (and no New Charred Oak) this is not. Simply an exception barrel out of Westland.
