This rum comes to us from Three Roll Estate located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. There they make single estate rum from fresh pressed cane juice along with some other styles. This rum was made from Louisiana cane juice rum that’s been fermented with yeast from Guadalupe and bottled with no additives.
ABV: 45%
Nose: Musty, Lemon Zest, Slight Green Apple, vanilla.
Palate: Light Mouthfeel, Lemon Zest, Green Apple, Musty, vanilla.
Finish: Short Finish, Lemon Zest, slight mustiness, vanilla.
Rating: 4/10
Overall, not bad. There are some ok notes here, but the notes are a little lacking and much like the Brazilian style I had from them there is this musty damp note hanging around still. Its not out front and offensively bad, but its brings it down still.
