Review #697; Bourbon #155: Ironroot Harbinger

This is a Texas bourbon from the Ironroot distillery. This was likely aged for aged for a short amount of time in Texas, 2-4 years before being bottled for sale.

This was done semi-blind, so keep that in mind.

ABV: 57.5%

Nose: Vanilla Frosting, Tannins, Black Pepper,

Palate: Light mouthfeel, Tannins, Wet Cardboard, slight vanilla.

Finish: Short finish, tannins, oak spice, wet cardboard

Rating: 2/10

Thin, wet cardboard notes. Typical bad craft whiskey. Tastes like small barrels to me. Just keep that bad Texas bourbon coming.
