This is a rye whiskey from Whistlepig sourced from Alberta Canada. This rye was aged for 10.5 years before being bottled at cask strength or the r/bourbon whiskey community.
I had this blind and was revealed the bottle after so keep that in mind while reading my notes.

A little on the hot side, but overall this is a very solid rye whiskey. Probably more for cocktailing than neat sipping but overall it does its job just fine.

Huh, not too bad though off a little bit. Overall this is a quality rye but doesn’t hit quite as deep or complex as some of the other Whistlepig single barrels I have tried over the years.
