Review #674; Mezcal #74: Cinco Sentidos Pizorra

This comes to us from bottler Cinco Sentidos by way of Mezcalero Delfino Tobon mejia. The Pizzora maguey is distilled on copper still, grinded with a shredder, and bottled at 48.4% abv.

I had this blind so keep that in mind while reading my notes.

ABV: 48.4%

Nose: Rainwater, slight ammonia, Mineralty, earthy, vanilla cream, red berries, vegetalness

Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, rainwater, earthy, vanilla cream, red berries, black pepper, vegetalness

Finish: Medium length finish, rainwater, vanilla cream, berries, mesquite, black pepper, vegetalness

Rating: 7/10

Really well balanced, the rainwater note is nice and refreshing, the fruit and vanilla come together with the earth and minerals to make a really compelling and tasty Mezcal.

Guess: Neta Espadin, 44-46% ABV
