Clairin Le Rocher Aficionados x Seelbachs Select

This is a selection of Le Rocher from Clairin slected by Aficionados and Seelbachs. This is unaged pot still cane sryp from 3 different varietals. During fermentation some of the residue from the previous distillation are left in the pot still to add to the distillate. This is then distilled once and then bottled at still proof.

ABV: 46.9%

Nose: Over-Ripe fruits, pineapple, banana, slight grass, lemon zest, brine, lime juice.

Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, over ripe fruits, pineapple, banana, orange peel, lime juice, brine, black pepper

Finish: Medium length finish, over ripe fruits, banana, brine, black pepper, lemon zest

Rating: 7/10

Bursting with flavor, this reminds me in the best way of unaged estery Jamaican rum. Lots of fruits, spices, some grassiness, and great characters. A great selection and example of what Clairin rum has to offer.
