This BTAC bottling comes to us from Buffalo Trace distiller as part of their yearly limited release. A wheated bourbon, 2020’s offering comes in at 12.5 years old. Let us see how this offering holds up.

Palate: Thick oily mouthfeel. Heavy cherry, tannins, tobacco leaf, allspice,
Finish: Medium length finish. Warm and Dry. Cherry, tobacco leaf, dark chocolate, black pepper, allspice, tannins
Rating: 8/10
This bottling holds up pretty well to the one other WLW I have got to try. Loads of sweetness, good oak structure, and spices round out for a rich and layered experience. No surprise this holds up very well to me.
