Rating: 5/10
This was one of the first bottles I bought a few years ago, and it falls into being a great pathway into Scotch in my opinion. It has a nice base of flavor to, some fruitiness and a slight maltiness that comes out as the bready notes to me. It falls a little boring and that may be due to proof, I wish this was upped to 46% abv like Arran 18, an 18 year old OB I favor to this. This is not bad by any means but at this point it’s not very exciting. Bottom line an easy to drink whisky that is a decent 18-year-old scotch at an affordable price.
