Of these 2 St. Lucia’s, I have to give a slight nod to the 9 year. The 7 yr is hot and unbalanced in terms of its flavors, and somehow drinks hotter than the 67 % 9 yr. The 9 yr is slightly better well balanced and some nice fruitiness to it, but I feel it would be even better with a few year of aging. Though I may just not be a big fan of the St. Lucia style of rum, the metallic tinge it has going on just brings it down for me in a strong way.

| Great | Well above average

| Excellent | Really quite exceptional.

| Incredible | An all time favorite

| Perfect | Perfect
