This is a Gin from the Bruichladdich Distillery. This is a gin that has 31 different botanicals in it, and is made at a distillery most well renown for their scotch. Lets see how their Islay Dry gin stacks up.
ABV: 46%
Nose: Brine, juniper, lemon zest, peppery, spicy, vegetal,
Palate: Medium mouthfeel. Warm, brine, spice, junipery, lemony, heavy black pepper.
Finish: Short length. Warm, dry. Brine, lemony, black pepper.
Rating: 6/10
The finish holds it back a bit, but this is something I could see keeping in my bar all the time. Great neat and would go great in my favorite Gin cocktail, a Gin Rickey.
