Review #306; Bourbon #90: Four Roses Limited Edition 2019

This is a yearly limited release from Four Roses, consisting of a blend of their recipes; 21 year old OBSV, 15 Year Old OESK, 15 Year Old OESV, and 11 year old OESV. Four Roses is regularly one of my favorite Bourbon Distilleries so lets see how this release holds up.

ABV: 56.3%

Nose: Rich Dark Chocolate, Vanilla Frosting, Slight Rye Spice, Tobacco Leaf, faint leather, Raspberry.

Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel. Raspberry, Cherry, tobacco leaf, rye spice, toffee, oak spice.

Finish: Long, Tobacco leaf, cherry, vanilla frosting, rye spice, black pepper. Faint Green Apple, oak spice.

Rating: 9/10

This stuff is awesome, rich and complex and highlighting the best bourbon and Four roses has to offer. I’ve only had the 2018 and now 2019 release, and this edges out the 2018 release for me.
