Review #212; Irish Whiskey #3: Yellow Spot

This is a 12 year old Irish Whiskey under the Spot line. I had this blind so keep that in mind.

ABV: 46%

Nose: Strong Honey, Cereally, Vanilla, Floralness,

Palate: Thick and oily mouthfeel, Honey, Cereals, florals, black pepper,

Finish: Medium length, cerals, honey, floral, oak

Rating: 6/10

Guess: This is fine, a nice sweet dram with loads of honey and vanilla with a touch of tartness. I would guess this to be 9-12 years, 43-46% abv, and ex bourbon barrel.

Reveal: Yellow Spot

Interesting, It has been awhile since I have had an Irish whiskey. This is quite good and Im ashamed to not have picked it out.
