Review #200; Bourbon #76: William Larue Weller 2018

William Larue Weller 2018

Another one of the famed and coveted BTAC collections, lets see how it holds up.

ABV: 62.85%

Nose: Sweet Red Cherry, slight green apple, funkiness, oak, Vanilla.

Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, cherry, cinnamon, vanilla, oak, tobacco leaf, black pepper, allspice. Heat.

Finish: Medium length, dark chocolate, cherry, cinnamon, vanilla, and oak.

Rating: 8/10

This is really good, it has a nice depth of flavor with those good oak and savory notes. However, the cinnamon red hot thing it has going on detracts from it a bit. Overall it’s good but as with all of these to hell with secondary pricing.
