Review #108; Rum #2: Adelphi Monymusk 14yr

Background: This is a 14 year single cask from the Clarendon/Monymusk distillery. , aged in a refill sherry cask, with only 346 bottles coming out of the cask. This was aged in Europe and bottled at cask strength with no additives.

ABV: 58.8%

Nose: Butterscotch, toffee, dark berries, funk, vanilla,

Palate: Funky, Pineapple plum hint, Sherry and funk mix on the back end in and interesting way.

Finish: Funky fruits, grapes, pineapples, toffee.

Being newish to rum, I have a hard time putting notes down but this is funky, fruity, tarty, and very fun to drink.
