Review #102; Scotch #21: Laphroaig 10 Cask Strength Batch 5

Background: This bottling of Laphroaig comes to us from the famed Laphroaig distillery. This single malt has been aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at cask strength.

ABV: 57.2%

Nose: Medicinal, Warm Peat, Smoke, Decaying Vegetation, Lemon Pledge Wipes, Brine.

Palate: Thick, Oily, Heat, peat, medicinal, lemon pledge, smoke, seaweed, small hint of vanilla.

Finish: Medium length. Peat, salt, medicinal, vanilla hint.

I enjoy this a good amount. Its delicious, good to drink, and has what you want from peat and smoke. I feel the C/S ratchets this up quite a bit from the standard 10
