Review #77; Bourbon #41: Russel’s Reserve Single Barrel Red Eye M Lounge Pick

Background: This is a single barrel of Russel’s Reserve Bourbon selected by Red Eye M Lounge. This barrel came from Rickhouse K and Floor 5. This was bottled with no chill filtering. I had this blind then was revealed the bottle so keep that in mind while reading my notes.

ABV: 55%

Nose: Faint notes, Caramel, oak, leather, honey sweetness faint, baking spices.

Palate: Medium feel. Sweet caramel, oak, honey, baking spices, burnt brown sugar.

Finish: Medium shortish. Warm, wet, oak, tobacco leaves, vanilla creaminess at the end that’s really nice.

Rating: 6/10

Good flavors, nice balance. This is a nice bourbon.

Guess: RRSiB store pick
