Review #43; Scotch #5: Glenlossie 24yr Signatory Vintage 1992 Bounty Hunter Private Select

Background: This bottling comes to us by way of Independent bottler Signatory Vintage. This single malt was distilled at Glenlossie then aged for 24 years in a hogshead before being selected by Bounty Hunter in Napa, California. It was bottled at cask strength with no additives or chill filtering. I had this blind so keep that in mind while reading my notes.

Nose: Very sweet, Citrus, Berrys, Dark Chocolate, Dessert, sweet baking spices. Complex

Palate: Thickish mouthfeel, dry, sweetness, orange, muted berry, spice, dry oak.

Finish: Long, Sweet, Vanilla, Creamy, hint of oak and citrus.

Rating: 7/10

Dessert, tasty, complex. This sample won’t last very long.
